I’m originally from Maryland. I’ve been in Florida for 36 years, so I consider myself pretty much native now.
I’ve been working in personal injury as a case manager for 26 years. I’ve worked at huge, medium-sized, and small firms. I find that smaller firms tend to focus more on quality rather than quantity, where clients end up feeling and being treated like just another number.
For me, the most gratifying part of my job is seeing a client come in upset, hurt, scared, and unsure what to do. I help them through the process and see them come out on the other side for the better, knowing I played a part in that journey.
I have volunteered at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center for 10 years and usually on Sundays. At other times after work or on weekends, I practice Yoga and Pilates. I also like to read, shop, and spend time with my family and my best friend.
