Hurricane Hermine which just swept through Tampa Bay caused major flooding throughout the city and surrounding areas. Police around the country are really cracking down on drivers who are texting. For example, a police officer in Maryland disguised himself as a homeless man and stood in a busy intersection and radioed to other officers down the road about texting drivers. At one point they gave out 56 tickets in two hours. In Massachusetts, state troopers are patrolling in tractor-trailers so they can sit up high to spot texting drivers, and police officers are riding their bicycles at stoplights and handing out tickets.
