Driving Drowsy Killed 5,000 in Related Crashes in 2015
A new report recently released by the CDC showed that people who are getting a lack of sleep are the ones responsible for the growing number of drowsy drivers. Almost 84 million Americans have admitted to sleeping less than the seven to eight recommended hours of sleep a night. That means one in four drivers are at risk of falling asleep at the wheel.
Drunk Driver Kills Elementary School Teacher in Crash
Caroline Sine, a music teacher at John Sexton Elementary School was injured in a crash after drunk driver, Brice McLeod ran a red light and smashed into her car at about 1:00 AM this past Sunday. She was taken to the hospital but passed away from her injuries the next day. Read more here.

More Companies are Teaming Up to Develop Self-Driving Cars
Yesterday, Uber and Volvo announced that they are partnering to develop XC90s that have self-driving technology. This is a “pilot” project that will unveil on US roads by the end of this year. This was announced just two days after Ford said that they want to have fully autonomous cars on the road by 2021.
