The WORST Red Light Runners in the Country in 2016
This compilation video shows the worst 2016 red light runners around the country. All these accidents are 100% avoidable as majority of these accidents are due to distracted driving and/or bad judgement. Just to remind everyone, yellow means slow down and red means STOP.
Something we hear all the time coming from people who call into our office is that their accident happened a long time ago, and they just decided that they should call an attorney. Tampa Ranked “Best Bike City”
Tampa was ranked in the Top 50 best cities for biking by Bicycling Magazine despite Florida having one of the highest death toll for bicyclists and Tampa having a general bad reputation. Tampa bicyclist John Scott said, “I feel scared if the cars are going really fast, I’ll definitely be scared, I won’t ride with the traffic in that case.” Mayor Bob Buckhorn is proud though saying that, “In the six years that I’ve been the mayor, we’ve added 155 miles of bike paths, bike lanes.” But he agrees, drivers are still the problem.
New Year’s Eve is supposed to be a night of fun and frivolity to ring in the new year with friends and family. We want you to have an amazing time, but we also want you to be safe and have a plan ready to go. Last year in Florida, there was over 2,000 crashes between New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. 861 of those crashes were with injury and 28 of those crashes with fatalities. In one night almost 30 people were lost, and majority due to drunk drivers. We want you to both have a plan to avoid driving drunk and avoid getting hit by a drunk driver. Road Rage at McDonald’s Drive-through
A woman in St. Pete followed another woman into the drive-through after the woman accidentally cut her off. She then proceeded to get out of her car, go up to the other lady’s car window and slap her while children were in the car. Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department at (727) 893-7780, or you can text the keyword “SPPD” and your anonymous tip to 847-411 (Tip-411.)
